Après-Ski

I recently went on a one-night ski trip to Big Bear which is just a few hours away from LA. The ski resort exudes a quaint and laid-back charm that inspires me to opt for a more minimalistic outfit.

Attire:
My attire comprised black leggings paired with a black long-sleeve turtleneckSince it wasn’t snowing, I chose my Hunter Rain Boots for their non-slip and lightweight quality. The knee-high length is giving sexy knee-highs without the discomfort of heels and contributes to a relaxed look.

Accessories:
To add a playful element, I wore a fuzzy ear warmer headband from Alo. Although the headband is currently sold out, here is a similar headband. Rather than positioning the ear warmers on top of my head, I opted to wear it more like a hairband by pushing my hair back. I enhanced the overall look by curling my hair with a large barrel for added volume. And, of course, the hair wouldn’t be so voluptuous without the crucial addition of a volumizing moose!

Accessorizing with thick gold earrings, a dainty chain necklace, and two bangle bracelets. To stay warm, I threw on an Alo ribbed velour puffer jacket. I bought the Alo jacket when it was on sale. It is a bit pricey when it’s not on sale so here’s a Dupe!

Despite feeling slightly overdressed for Big Bear, I embraced the sentiment, as it made me feel pretty and authentically myself.
